Burkina’s National Volunteer Program Celebrates the Exceptional Contributions of Volunteer Abdoul Aziz Lenkoné


Ouagadougou — The National Volunteer Program in Burkina (PNVB) held a special ceremony on Monday to honor Abdoul Aziz Lenkoné, a volunteer whose extraordinary commitment and dedication have significantly impacted the community. The event highlighted Lenkoné’s contributions and celebrated his role as a model of volunteerism within the organization.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the Director General of the PNVB, during the ceremony, Lenkoné was praised for his altruism and tireless dedication, which have earned him the respect and admiration of his peers. Noufé described Lenkoné as a true embodiment of the spirit of volunteerism, stating that his perseverance and passion for his work inspire all members of the PNVB.



Abdoul Aziz Lenkoné, after receiving a letter of congratulations, expressed his heartfelt thanks to his superiors and colleagues. He shared that his motivation is driven by a strong belief in the mission of the PNVB, rather than the pursuit of recognition. “Every day, I come with the intention of doing my best, not for the rewards, but because I firmly believe in the mission of the PNVB,” Lenkoné affirmed.



The recognition of Lenkoné’s efforts underscores the PNVB’s commitment to acknowledging the significant contributions of its volunteers. Noufé noted that such acknowledgments serve not only as a tribute to dedicated individuals like Lenkoné but also as an inspiration for the entire program.



The PNVB allows Burkinabè nationals or residents of Burkina Faso to dedicate 6 to 36 months to missions of general interest in various fields including education, health, environmental conservation, economic development, and decentralization.
