Burkina’s Minister €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬°mile Zerbo Calls for State Ambassadorship Among Colleagues

Ouagadougou: Minister of State in charge of Territorial Administration and Mobility, €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬°mile Zerbo, has called upon his colleagues to act as ambassadors of the State, emphasizing the importance of citizenship, patriotism, responsibility, and discipline.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the call to action was made during the first phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, which is being held from March 26 to April 9, 2025. Minister Zerbo participated in the traditional raising of the colors ceremony at the Faso building, alongside the agents of his department. He highlighted the significance of the event, noting that it serves as a tribute to the nation's symbols and unity, as exemplified by the collective singing of the Ditany¨.

Minister Zerbo expressed his appreciation for the dedication shown by his employees, particularly during the recent health day organized on April 5, 2025. He urged his colleagues to address public awareness around cleanliness and discipline, challenging actions that tarnish the image of the community and the nation at large. Zerbo emphasized the role of his colleagues in educating fellow citizens about maintaining sanitary conditions and adhering to societal norms.

Furthermore, the Minister called for a culture of frugality within the administration to ensure the responsible use of public resources. He pointed out instances of wasteful behavior, such as unnecessary use of air conditioning, and stressed the need for discipline and responsibility in managing shared resources. Zerbo's message was clear: to promote a conscientious and efficient administration that respects public assets.
