Burkina’s Bangr-Weoogo Park Council Commits to Sustainable Development

Ouagadougou: The Scientific and Technical Council (CST) of the Bangr-Weoogo Urban Park convened for its first ordinary session of 2025 on June 26 and 27, in Ouagadougou. The primary focus of the session was the review of the update report concerning the Forest Management Plan for the classified forest of the Ouagadougou dam.

According to Burkina Information Agency, council members participated in a field visit to Bangr-Weoogo Park during the session. This visit provided them with an opportunity to observe the challenges of space management and assess the progress achieved so far.

Concluding their activities, the Council emphasized its dedication to the park's preservation and sustainable development. It aims to achieve this by integrating innovative solutions into the management of natural spaces.
