Burkinabe Workers at CILSS Contribute 12 Tons of Cement to Faso Mebo Initiative

Ouagadougou: Burkinabe members of the Inter-State Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS) handed over 12 tons of cement to the Faso Mebo presidential initiative on Friday, September 12.

According to Burkina Information Agency, on the occasion of the 40th day of CILSS, the Burkinabe workers of the organization donated 240 bags of cement. This contribution, valued at over 1 million CFA francs, signifies their support for the presidential initiative Faso Mebo.

The workers' spokesperson, Seydou Konkobo, expressed that the gesture is intended to assist with the beautification and development efforts in Burkina Faso's localities carried out by Faso Mebo for the residents' benefit. He emphasized the importance of each Burkinabe contributing to the nation's development.

Konkobo highlighted, "It was natural for us, at the heart of government action, to support an initiative as noble as that carried by Faso Mebo, we are happy to be able to contribute." He further encouraged Burkinabe citizens both locally and abroad to recognize the initiative's significance and to support it in building Faso.
