Bremen: Burkinabe international Issa Kabor©, who recently returned from a loan spell at Benfica Lisbon, has been loaned once again by his English club Manchester United to Werder Bremen in Germany, media sources report.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Issa Kabor©'s time at Benfica Lisbon was marked by limited playing time, prompting his parent club, Manchester City, to recall him. They have now decided to loan him to Werder Bremen for the remainder of the season, aiming to provide him with more opportunities to play and regain his form.
In a statement made in Germany on Monday, Kabor© expressed his enthusiasm about joining Werder Bremen and participating in the German league. "I am looking forward to my new role at Werder and in the German league. Werder are having a very good season so far. I would like to do my part by contributing what I know how to do and also learning from the club and the city," said the Burkina Faso Stallions right-back.
Bremen coach Ole Werner shared his thoughts on Kabor©'s addition to the team, highlighting the player's technical skills and physical robustness. "Issa Kabor© is very good technically and he is also physically robust. He will bring us a lot of speed. His commitment opens up other possibilities in our game. We are convinced that he can integrate very well into our team," Werner stated.
This move sees Issa Kabor© joining his fellow countryman Edmond Tapsoba, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, in the Bundesliga. Since being signed by Manchester City, Kabor© has had loan spells at various clubs, including Troyes and Marseille in France, Luton Town in England, and Benfica Lisbon in Portugal.
