Malabo: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad has initiated a consular mission in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to enable the Burkinabe community residing in this country to obtain identity documents easily and quickly. This mission, which covers the period from May 27 to June 5, allows the establishment and delivery of Burkinabe passports and national identity cards for the benefit of our compatriots.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the consular team will travel to the cities of Malabo, Bata, and Mongomo, with the aim of enrolling as many Burkinabe nationals residing in these areas of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea as possible, in order to facilitate their obtaining their identity and travel documents, essential for every citizen. This operation comes in response to a long-standing complaint from the Burkinabe community in Equatorial Guinea, who were experiencing enormous difficulties in obtaining or renewing their identity and travel documents.
The arrival of the mission initiated by the MP in charge of Burkinabe Abroad, sounds like a real breath of fresh air for the many applicants, massively mobilized around the operation. The Consulate General of Malabo took this opportunity, which mobilizes the Burkinabe community, to offer services to the numerous requests for consular cards, legalization, and authentication.
By organizing this mission, the Ministry in charge of Burkinabe Abroad is thus enabling the accomplishment of one of its main missions, which is to ensure the security and protection of Burkinabe nationals in the four corners of the world.
