Ouagadougou: A delegation from the Youth Council of the Alliance of Sahel States (CJ.AES), led by its president Isma«l Sawadogo, requested support from the Dima of Yatenga on Sunday to help them carry out their activities. "We came this morning to present our association to His Majesty, to seek his advice and support for the smooth running of the structure. It is very important for us to do so because we need his support to work well," said Isma«l Sawadogo, president of the Youth Council of the Alliance of Sahel States (CJ.AES).

According to Burkina Information Agency, His Majesty urged the youth to unite, be honest, sacrifice, and care. He also called on them to work and be disciplined. The president of CJ.AES expressed that his team is leaving with "wise advice and blessings from His Majesty." "We assure His Majesty that this wise advice will be taken into account in all our activities," he reassured.

This visit to His Majesty Naaba Kiba is part of a series of visits initiated by the CJ.AES to the traditional, customary, and religious legitimacy of Burkina Faso. Established in March 2024, the Youth Council of the Sahel States Alliance (CJ.AES) / Burkina Faso section promotes development and integration in the Sahel region. It also aims to conduct awareness-raising activities in favor of peace and coexistence in this community.
