Burkina: The Minister in charge of Humanitarian Action thanks the SankMoney team for its outpouring of solidarity undertaken for the benefit of IDPs

The Minister of Solidarity, Humanitarian Action, National Reconciliation, Gender and Family, Nandy Somé/Diallo received in audience and thanked on Tuesday July 18, 2023, a SankMoney team led by Administrator Sada Zougmoré, for its outpouring of solidarity undertaken for the benefit of IDPs.

The team led by Administrator Sada Zougmoré, accompanied by Advisor Sadat Bikienga, conveyed a message of encouragement to the ministry for the multiple actions of solidarity and humanitarian assistance for the benefit of internally displaced persons (IDPs).

She came to testify to her commitment and her availability to support the technical services of the ministry in the search for solutions adapted to the needs of the populations.

The administrator of SankMoney Sada Zougmoré took the opportunity to reiterate SankMoney’s social commitment to support the Government of Burkina Faso by offering five (05) boreholes (Ouagadougou, Kaya, Bobo-Dioulasso, Fada and Pouytenga) and share his vision in facilitating monetary payments.

During the hearing, SankMoney officials informed the Minister that they are working towards the financial empowerment of women, particularly internally displaced women through training in income generating activities.

The Minister, for her part, thanked the SankMoney team for its outpouring of solidarity undertaken for the benefit of internally displaced women and populations.

As for capacity building, she told the hosts of the day that training needs exist and are known within her department.

To do this, Minister Somé, while welcoming the approach, reassured the Burkinabè money transfer agency of the availability of its technical services to facilitate access to beneficiaries.
