The Burkinabè army struck down in the forest of Kankanmogre, about sixty terrorists who had just diverted on the Bitou-Cinkanssé road, tank trucks filled with fuel. Other operations enabled the Combatant Forces to neutralize many assailants and to recover or destroy a large quantity of weapons, the AIB learned on Saturday from security sources.

Thursday evening, nearly sixty terrorists hijacked tankers on the Bittou-Cinkanssé axis.

They then headed for Kankanmogre-Peulh under the watchful eye of the Burkinabè army’s observation resources.

Sensing the danger, the thugs abandoned the stolen vehicles at the entrance to the forest.

Later that night, believing themselves safe, the assassins returned to the scene to help themselves.

But the air vectors were still on alert and the criminals will be blasted under a big tree.

In the Sahel zone, the Combatant Forces stormed a terrorist base in the Feto Koba loci.

At the end of the fighting, about twenty terrorists were neutralized, machine guns, individual weapons, rolling stock and communication equipment were recovered by the friendly forces.

In the Center-North, after the twenty terrorists neutralized on Friday, the boys unearthed assailants entrenched in the abandoned concessions in a hamlet not far from Dablo. The bandits have all been neutralized.

It should also be noted that the units of the second group led offensives that made it possible to neutralize several terrorists and recover equipment
