Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, has pledged to intensify efforts to advance the revolution for the people of Burkina Faso, while issuing a stern warning to individuals he accuses of being local agents of imperialism.
According to Burkina Information Agency, President Traor© declared his administration's readiness to be "ruthless and without qualms" against those obstructing the nation's progress. He accused certain members within Burkina Faso's administrations, civil society, and political organizations of serving foreign imperialist interests.
During a speech at the traditional raising of the national flag, President Traor© highlighted that these alleged traitors are misleading others and diverting them from the country's developmental goals. He asserted that his government has implemented measures to counteract these local operatives, who he claims are executing the directives of their foreign sponsors.
Captain Traor© announced that some individuals have been apprehended, and ongoing investigations aim to uncover further collaborators. He specifically identified these traitors as those working with embassies of imperialist nations operating within Burkina Faso.
