During a public address on Tuesday, President Traor© emphasized his commitment to maintaining national focus and warned that the state would show no leniency towards individuals engaging in such activities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, President Traor© made these remarks during the traditional raising of the colors ceremony held on April 1, 2025. He reassured citizens that Burkina Faso is steadfast in its journey towards sovereignty and development, undeterred by the attempts of detractors and manipulators. The President expressed that those wishing to disrupt the nation’s progress are clinging to unrealistic dreams, referencing the tragic events of 1987 and the assassination of Captain Thomas Sankara as a cautionary tale.
The President asserted that the current climate is different, and the nation is prepared to confront any mercenaries or actions designed to destabilize it. Captain Traor© denounced the tactics of disinformation, manipulation, and subversion employed by these destabilizers and called upon the people of Burkina Faso to remain vigilant against such ploys. He criticized those who support manipulative agendas, describing them as individuals driven by greed and personal gain over national interest.
