Ouahigouya: The constituted bodies and the populations of Burkina Faso have been urged to responsibly mobilize around the initiatives led by the Head of State, as part of the ‘Rise of the Colors’ event overseen by the governor of the North region, Thomas Yampa.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this solemn ceremony took place in June 2025 at the Central Purchasing Office for Generic Essential Medicines (CAMEG) in Ouahigouya. Officials from the regional public administration, along with defense and security forces, participated in the flag-raising ceremony, singing the national anthem in the Moor© language.

During the event, Dr. Sidiki Sanou, head of the CAMEG agency in Ouahigouya, highlighted the organization’s daily efforts to ensure access to quality products for the population across Burkina Faso. The regional authority addressed the multiple challenges facing the population and outlined major national interest activities scheduled for the region in June.

Governor Yampa called for the engagement of constituent bodies and the population in the responsible mobilization for the implementation of the Head of State’s initiatives. The goal is to realize the total sovereignty of Burkina Faso through a popular and progressive revolution.
