A delegation from the Federation of Islamic Associations of Burkina Faso (FAIB), led by its president El hadj Oumarou Zoungrana, expressed on Friday its support for Prime Minister Me Apollinaire Kyelèm de Tambela in his assignments.
“As Muslim leaders, it is necessary for us to express our support for the Prime Minister for the actions he is taking in the management of the government”, declared the president of the year, of the FAIB, El hadji Oumarou Zoungrana.
El hadji Oumarou Zoungrana indicated that the Federation of Islamic Associations of Burkina Faso (FAIB), brings together about 300 Muslim associations.
Mr. Zoungrana was speaking on leaving the audience with Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyelèm de Tambela on Friday August 18 in Ouagadougou.
“We also talked about the security situation in the country, in the coming days we will ask the Muslim faithful to pray for peace to return to Burkina Faso and to the countries of the sub-region”, he said. he informed.
El hadji Oumarou Zoungrana, in view of the situation in Niger, invited the various parties to dialogue.
“With the tensions in Niger, we invite the different parties to dialogue because it is not war that can fix the problems”, he recommended.
