Burkina: Meet Under the Lights of the Funfair from June 27 to 29

Ouagadougou: The organizing committee of the “Faso Fun” funfair announced yesterday that the activities of this festival will be held from June 27 to 29, 2025, at the Place de la Nation in Ouagadougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the funfair is a mobile amusement park that appears twice a year, once in June to announce the holidays and again at the end of the year for Christmas. This year’s event, themed around mental health, will be a vibrant celebration dedicated to creating a space for sharing and discovery across all generations.

The organizing committee, during a press conference on June 4, 2025, emphasized their commitment to offering an enriching experience. The president of the organizing committee, Abdoul Hafiz Ouattara, revealed that the festival will feature several activities, including panels on “Depression, Talking About It, Getting Over It” and “Suicide, Risk Factors.” Additional activities include a blood donation drive during the first two days, creative and scientific workshop
s, shooting ranges, skill games, robot and drone piloting initiations, gourmet areas, and a live concert featuring renowned national and international artists.

Moreover, the committee has taken an initiative to care for 75 children from the FDS throughout the festivities. Ticket prices for the holiday edition are set at 2000 for adults and 1000 for attendees under the age of 15.
