The governor of the East region, Colonel Hubert Yaméogo has suspended cash transfers for the benefit of the population from April 15, 2023 until further notice.

In a document dated Thursday, March 16, 2023 and signed by the governor of the Eastern region, Colonel Hubert Yaméogo informs the entire population and more particularly the agencies of the United Nations system, NGOs, of projects and programs intervening in its regional territory, of the suspension of all cash transfer distribution methods.

The press release specifies that the measure takes effect from April 15, 2023 until further notice.

“Thus, I would like to remind everyone of your role in the application of this measure. I attach importance to strict compliance with this statement, ”continued the authority.
