Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe government has announced the establishment of the Burkina Institute of Public Finance. This new institution results from the merger of the National School of Financial Administration (ENAREF) and the National School of Customs (END). The initiative aims to enhance the professional and academic capacities of executives involved in economic and financial administration, as well as public and private sector agents.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the creation of the institute is part of a strategic vision to bolster the skills of professionals in both public and private sectors. The institute is set to become a reference center for training and advisory services in public finances, working in collaboration with various universities.
The decree’s adoption, which enabled the institute’s creation, is a response to the increasing demands of public finance management amidst globalization and digitalization.
