“Under the Ministry of Public Service, Labor and Social Protection, the Council authorized the recruitment of 7,218 agents by direct competition and 5,283 for the professional competitions session 2023”.

The Minister of State, Minister in charge of the public service Bassolma Bazié specified that for direct competitions, the emphasis is on priority sectors such as agriculture, digital transformation, health, with a financial impact of more of 22 billion CFA francs.

An important measure concerning this decision is that as of this year, agents will receive additional training of a maximum of 3 months which takes into account “ethics, knowledge of a certain number of State tools , but also and above all military training”, given the context in Burkina Faso.
