SANABA, Burkina – In a series of coordinated military actions, Burkina’s Combatant Forces have dealt a significant blow to terrorist factions across several regions. These operations have led to the capture of critical equipment and the neutralization of numerous terrorists.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the recent clashes have seen the Combatant Forces successfully repelling terrorist attacks on multiple fronts. In the Boucle du Mouhoun region, particularly in Sanaba, the forces compelled the terrorists to retreat, leaving behind their dead and war paraphernalia. Further east in Bogandé, BIR 19 unit dismantled several terrorist bases, neutralizing numerous attackers and reclaiming war materials.

In Djibo, a noted hotspot, terrorists faced a robust defense as fighter jets and combat drones effectively countered their attempts to infiltrate the town. The aerial attacks extended north to Sibè and Bouro, where missiles targeted terrorists hiding in abandoned structures, resulting in significant casualties and damage.

Moreover, in Bouro woods, air forces continued their pursuit, eliminating a large group of terrorists and thwarting their retreat to Nassoumbou. A decisive missile strike disrupted their operations under a hangar used as a command post, marking another victory for the Combatant Forces.

The operations are ongoing, with heightened alertness and readiness reported among the troops, indicating a sustained commitment to securing the region from terrorist activities.
