Burkina faso: The Yalgado Ou©draogo University Hospital Center (CHU-YO) has received over 400 million CFA francs worth of medical and technical equipment, courtesy of the Presidential Initiative for Health (IPS), as announced by the hospital's Director General, Ousmane N©r©, on Monday. This significant investment aims to enhance the hospital's technical capabilities and improve patient care quality.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the newly acquired equipment is set to bolster the efforts of healthcare staff, responding to the increasing demand for specialized care within the region. The initiative aligns with the national agenda to modernize health infrastructure and elevate the standard of healthcare services.
The CHU-YO has extended its gratitude to the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, acknowledging that this support will significantly reduce the need for medical evacuations and provide more accessible, high-quality care to patients across the region.
