OUAGADOUGOU — President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, outlined a strategic focus on bolstering Health, Education, and Agriculture sectors as the country anticipates improved security conditions.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Speaking at the 2024 Day of Educational Excellence in Ouagadougou, the President emphasized the need for significant investment in these key areas as part of the nation’s recovery efforts. “When the fever subsides and spending is brought under control, we will need to invest heavily in defense and internal security, as well as in the education, health, and agriculture sectors,” Captain Traoré stated.
The Head of State noted that the planned interventions are part of a broader strategy to enhance the living and working conditions of citizens in these critical sectors. He also announced the construction of public schools to fortify the educational sector against external influences and ensure the retention of local talent.
