Burkina Faso’s National Volunteer Program Collaborates on Development Projects with Major Projects Office

OUAGADOUGOU — The Public Interest Group-National Volunteer Program in Burkina Faso (GIP-PNVB) engaged in critical discussions with the National Office of Major Projects (BNGP) on development initiatives aligned with the vision of President Ibrahim Traoré. This meeting, held in Ouagadougou, focused on fostering collaboration between the two entities to advance national development goals.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the GIP-PNVB, led by General Director Djourmité Nestor Noufé, met with Dr. Bruno Compaoré, the Executive Director of BNGP, and his team on Friday, July 19. The discussions revolved around several development projects that are key to realizing the strategic visions set forth by President Traoré. A specialized group comprising technicians from both GIP-PNVB and BNGP was established during the meeting to draft a partnership agreement and outline joint activities between the two agencies.

The collaboration underscores a unified approach towards addressing Burkina Faso’s development challenges, leveraging the strengths of both the volunteer program and the major projects office.
