OUAGADOUGOU — Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, the Minister of Culture for Burkina Faso, articulated a vision where the nation’s cultural values could play a crucial role in combating terrorism, complementing ongoing military efforts.
According to Burkina Information Agency, who spoke on Saturday in the national Moore language on RTB3, the country’s rich cultural heritage holds untapped potential that could be pivotal in achieving lasting peace. He emphasized that while the military fights terrorism on the ground, it is culture that will ultimately cement a peaceful society.
