Ouagadougou: “We will establish order and discipline,” declared Captain Ibrahim Traor©, the Head of State of Burkina Faso. He emphasized that these principles are crucial for the success of the ongoing revolution in the country.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain Traor© asserted that disorder is incompatible with revolutionary success. He stressed the necessity for order and discipline as essential components for implementing social, economic, political, and ideological reforms effectively, ensuring the nation’s progress.

The remarks were made during the traditional flag-raising ceremony held on the first Monday of each month in Ouagadougou. Captain Traor© urged citizens to embrace the revolution, highlighting that opportunists have taken advantage of the movement in the past two years.

“We are navigating through turbulent times,” he remarked, likening the situation to a storm that will eventually see opportunists fall away from the movement. Despite the challenges, Traor© expressed optimism about reaching “calm waters” for the nation to “sail peacefully.”

He also called on the people of Burkina Faso to remain vigilant against internal threats, noting that “the enemy knows how to recruit and is still recruiting traitors.”
