Burkina Faso’s Head of State Receives Message from Equatorial Guinea President on Bilateral Cooperation

Ouagadougou – Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the President of the Transition and Head of State of Burkina Faso, received an audience with Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma, Minister at the Presidency of Equatorial Guinea, responsible for external security, late Tuesday morning.

According to a new release by Burkina Information Agency, Nchuchuma conveyed a message from Equatorial Guinea’s President Teodoro Obiang N’GUEMA Mbasogo to Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

The message focused on “solidarity, friendship, cooperation, and fraternity,” said Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma. The Equatorial Guinean minister noted that there is excellent cooperation between Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea, covering multiple sectors including agriculture, diplomacy, and the fight against illegal migration.

Furthermore, Mr. Nchuchuma highlighted the presence of a strong and well-integrated Burkinabè community in Equatorial Guinea, indicating the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.
