Ouagadougou – In a successful operation against terrorism, the 5th grouping of the Nouna Combatant Forces in Burkina Faso ambushed terrorists in the Bourasso area of Kossi on the night of December 8 to 9, 2023. The operation resulted in the neutralization of several terrorists and the capture of usable equipment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, The operation marks a significant achievement in Burkina Faso’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism within its borders. The seizure of equipment from the terrorists not only disrupts their activities but also strengthens the country’s security forces’ capability to address such threats.
