OUAGADOUGOU—Bassolma Bazié, Burkina Faso’s Minister of State in charge of the Civil Service, has commended the air force for its pivotal role in maintaining national stability, particularly during the recent civil service examinations.

This acknowledgment came during his thanksgiving tour to the combat forces that played a crucial role in the organization of the 2024 civil service competitions.
Minister Bazié emphasized that the visit aimed to engage with the military’s realities and demonstrate to all stakeholders, including the candidates, that organizing such competitions amidst insecurity requires significant mobilization. Despite some regions being inaccessible, the air force’s support was instrumental in allowing candidates to participate in the exams peacefully.
