Rome – Burkina Faso has been designated the guest country of honor at the upcoming Africa-Italy Economic Forum, set to take place from July 15 to 20, 2024, in Rome and Trieste. The forum aims to bolster economic and commercial ties between Africa and potential investors.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Burkina Faso intends to use this platform to strengthen its friendly relations with the Italian Republic and showcase its economic and commercial potential to attract more investors. The Africa-Italy Economic Forum is an essential venue for discussing partnerships and development opportunities aimed at creating jobs for youth in Africa and reducing the drive toward illegal immigration to Europe.
