Burkina Faso to Mark World Youth Skills Day on July 25

OUAGADOUGOU — Burkina Faso’s government has scheduled its inaugural celebration of World Youth Skills Day (WYSD) for July 25, a shift from the global observance on July 15. The festivities are set to unfold across all 13 regions of the nation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event aims to emphasize the importance of equipping youth with skills necessary for employment, entrepreneurship, and addressing the challenges of a rapidly evolving job market. The day will focus on inspiring young people to contribute to peace and development through their skills.
