Burkina Faso to Invest 373 Billion FCFA in Major Development Projects in 2024


Ouagadougou — The government of Burkina Faso plans to invest 373 billion FCFA in 2024 into a range of ‘specific projects’ including the construction of power stations and other significant infrastructure developments. This investment aims to enhance services across several ministries and institutions.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the funding will cover projects such as the construction and improvement of power infrastructure, hydro-agricultural developments, and the provision of various educational and technical resources. These projects are designed to facilitate significant improvements in access to electricity, water resources management, and educational facilities. The investments will be financed through the state budget along with contributions from technical and financial partners.
