Ouagadougou: The Burkina Faso Stallions are set to engage in two international friendly matches against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia and the Zimbabwe Warriors on June 2 and June 6, respectively. This announcement was made by the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF) as part of the FIFA window events.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the first match will take place in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, where the Stallions will face the Carthage Eagles. Following this, the team will travel to Casablanca, Morocco, to confront the Zimbabwe Warriors. These matches are seen as a critical step in preparing the Stallions for future international competitions.
The FBF highlighted these encounters as significant opportunities for both the players and the technical staff to gain experience against formidable opponents. This preparation is crucial as the Burkina Faso Stallions gear up for the World Cup qualifiers, where they are scheduled to play against the Egyptian Pharaohs in September.
