Burkina Faso: The First Edition of the Brand Fair Opens Its Doors in Ouagadougou

Ouagadougou: The first edition of the Brand Fair opened its doors on Friday at the Ouaga 2000 conference hall, with the main objective of promoting brands carried by Burkinabe entrepreneurs. Scheduled from December 5 to 7, 2025, the Brand Fair aims to bring together around 50 exhibitors under the theme: "Enhancing our brands, building our economic sovereignty".

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event is initiated by Anne Pare, who emphasized the importance of highlighting and supporting all brands established in Burkina Faso, particularly those run by entrepreneurs, to enhance their competitiveness in the market. During the three-day event, attendees can expect exhibitions, thematic panels, a brand village, and the Night of Brands on December 7, which will recognize outstanding Burkinabe brands and supportive administrative and state structures.

Elise Kaba, the project manager representing the Minister in charge of Digital Transition and sponsor of the event, highlighted that the Fair aligns with the vision of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore. The vision focuses on building a proud and autonomous Burkina Faso through the appreciation of local strengths, resources, and talents. Kaba emphasized that the trade show serves to boost the visibility of companies, provide networking and training opportunities, and stimulate innovation and competitiveness.

Kaba further encouraged the organizers and partners to maintain their efforts to ensure the continuation of the event, which aims to foster creativity and digital technology adoption. She stressed that the economic development of Burkina Faso relies on collective commitment and the promotion of locally produced goods.
