Burkina faso: Students from the Tanlarghin Municipal General Education College (CEG) handed over 100 paving molds to the Faso Mebo initiative on Saturday, as a civic contribution to development efforts and support for the President of Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this donation is the result of a voluntary effort by the students of the school, each of whom contributed 100 CFA francs. Initially intended for the purchase of one ton of cement, the contribution ultimately enabled the acquisition of 100 paving molds, due to the unavailability of cement on the market.
Student representatives stated that this gesture is intended as a symbol of commitment and solidarity with ongoing development efforts in the country. They indicated that this initiative reflects the desire of school-aged youth to participate, at their level, in the national dynamic of building and mutual support.
Representatives from Faso Mebo, present at the handover, praised the initiative of the students from the Tanlarghin Municipal Secondary School, emphasizing that it illustrates the patriotic spirit and the ability of young people to mobilize around the ideals of progress and social cohesion.
Like several thousand students who recently demonstrated their support for the President of Burkina Faso through marches and cheers, the students of Tanlarghin are thus affirming their commitment to the development of Burkina Faso.
