Burkina Faso Reaffirms Fraternal Bonds and Solidarity with Togo

LOMÉ — Burkina Faso's top diplomat, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, delivered a heartfelt message of fraternity and solidarity from President Ibrahim Traoré to Togo's President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé yesterday, underlining the close ties between the two West African nations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Traoré emphasized the strong appreciation for President Gnassingbé's leadership within the sub-region. "The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has mandated us to come and reaffirm his message of fraternity and solidarity as well as the positive appreciation of the leadership of the Togolese president on issues in the sub-region," Traoré stated.

The Burkina Faso Foreign Minister, along with his colleague from Territorial Administration Émile Zerbo, was officially received by President Gnassingbé, marking another significant step in strengthening the diplomatic and cooperative ties that bind the two neighboring countries.
