Burkina Faso Participates in Central African Republic Independence Day Celebrations

BANGUI — The Burkinabè government, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, took part in the Central African Republic’s 64th Independence Day celebrations on August 13.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Minister Karamoko Traoré and his team were warmly received by the Central African President Faustin Archange Touadéra in the capital, Bangui. During their meeting, Minister Traoré conveyed a message of fraternity and solidarity from President Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso to President Touadéra. The discussions highlighted the strong friendship and cooperative ties between the two nations, particularly in their mutual commitment to sovereignty.

The event also served as an opportunity for President Touadéra to express his appreciation for the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, praising his efforts to guide Burkina Faso towards a brighter and more prosperous future. The presence of the Burkinabè delegation underscored the importance of the ceremony and the value Burkina Faso places on its relationship with the Central African Republic.
