Ouagadougou – Burkina Faso marked May 15 as a day of national recognition for all religious traditions and customs, reflecting the government’s commitment to treat all religious faiths with equity. According to Burkina Information Agency, Decentralization, and Security, Minister Emile Zerbo, who is also a professional magistrate, emphasized the importance of acknowledging every religion practiced across the nation. Minister Zerbo’s remarks were shared on his ministry’s Facebook page, where he expressed that the day is meant to honor the diverse religious backgrounds that contribute to the nation’s identity and spirituality.
