Burkina Faso: New Minister Moumouni Zoungrana Requests Support from Staff to Fulfill Mission

Ouagadougou: The new Minister of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training, Moumouni Zoungrana, has called for the support of his colleagues to ensure the success of his mission, which focuses on innovation. He made this appeal during his installation on Wednesday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, upon assuming his duties, Professor Zoungrana expressed his gratitude to the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, and Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo, for the confidence they have shown in him. He emphasized that overcoming the challenges ahead cannot be achieved by a single individual, regardless of their competence, and urged his colleagues to collaborate in solidarity to achieve the goals set out for the ministry.

Outgoing Minister Aboubacar Savadogo expressed his gratitude to the authorities for the trust they placed in him when he was appointed to lead the strategic department. He highlighted the challenges faced during his tenure, including security issues, economic constraints, and social expectations. Despite these hurdles, he noted that significant achievements were made, particularly in consolidating accomplishments and strengthening the links between training, productivity, and employability.

Mr. Savadogo extended his appreciation to his colleagues, technical partners, and all contributors who helped achieve the ministry's objectives. He concluded by congratulating Professor Zoungrana and assuring him of his unwavering support as he embarks on his new mission.
