Baku: The Minister of Family, Humanitarian Action, and National Solidarity, P©lagie Passowend© Kabor©, visited the commune of Kossouka in Yatenga province, bringing a message from President Captain Ibrahim Traor©. Her visit focused on understanding the lives of the returning households, as observed on-site by AIB.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the delegation arrived amidst heavy rain, delivering a message from the President to the households of Kossouka and the forces working to ensure the safety of the population and maintain territorial integrity. High Commissioner of Yatenga, Pierre Claver Banc©, welcomed the delegation, representing the Governor of the Yaadga region along with other officials.

Minister Kabor© visited resettled villages and interacted with the community members. Ang¨le Ou©draogo and Bibata Ou©draogo, representing the women from the resettled villages, expressed their gratitude for the visit. They raised several issues, including the reopening of schools and health centers, the need for ambulances, vocational training, and the enhancement of rice field production.

In response, Minister Kabor© assured the community that their concerns were noted and would be addressed swiftly in cooperation with other ministerial departments. The visit concluded with the symbolic handover of food and supplies to the returning households.
