Burkina Faso Mebo: RISA Donates 10 Tons of Cement and Mobilizes Its Activists on Site to Work

Mogtedo: The Gathering of Intelligences for the Sovereignty of Africa (RISA) contributed to the Faso Mebo Presidential Initiative through a donation of 10 tons of cement and the mobilization of several of its activists at the construction site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the deputy national coordinator of RISA, Dr. Hyacinthe W. Ouedraogo, stated that this action aims to provide support to the Burkinabe authorities in their efforts to develop and transform the country. "RISA has decided to mobilize at the Faso Mebo site for two essential objectives: the delivery of 10 tons of cement and the physical participation of its members in the work," he said.

Dr. Ouedraogo mentioned that this donation results from an internal contribution from RISA activists, who contributed according to their means to make a gesture in favor of this initiative. "Revolution is not just about words, it's also about action. Today, we are putting words into action," he added, emphasizing that this contribution will not be the last.

He noted that while RISA members were already individually participating in Faso Mebo's activities, this is the first time the organization, as a formal entity, has made a collective donation. He also invited all citizens to support the authorities in major projects, including the launch of the Ouagadougou-Bobo-Dioulasso highway.

The Secretary General of RISA, Dr. Nebie Boukary, explained that the mobilization raised approximately one million CFA francs, which was used to purchase the cement. "Beyond the material donation, we decided to contribute our physical strength. Approximately 200 to 300 activists, supporters, and students are mobilized to work on the site until 2 p.m.," he specified.

Dr. Nebie urged the Burkinab¨ population to embrace the Faso Mebo initiative, recalling that, according to the President of Faso, no one will come to build Burkina Faso in place of the Burkinab¨. "Even with 10 minutes, an hour of time, or a symbolic contribution of 100 or 500 CFA francs, everyone can participate in building our nation," he argued.

He expressed the ambition to see Burkina Faso become an attractive country, capable of welcoming tourists and investors, as a result of collective efforts carried out under the banner of the Popular Progressive Revolution.
