Ouagadougou: The Prime Ministry of Burkina Faso introduced a new digital platform that consolidates over 11,000 legal texts governing the country's public administration. The platform, which was developed to aid decision-making at the highest levels of government, was presented to the press on Wednesday in Ouagadougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Prime Ministry’s IT specialist, the platform is accessible through the National Computer Network (RESINA). It allows users to consult national and supranational laws, as well as other regulatory documents.

Ferdinand Ouédraogo, the Chief of Staff for the Prime Minister, described the text bank as an invaluable tool for governance. He emphasized that having a centralized legal resource would prevent administrative dysfunctions and unnecessary bureaucracy while aligning with the government's stabilization and development goals.

Ouédraogo added that the platform will initially be used internally but could be expanded to other ministerial departments after further testing.
