Ouagadougou: The President of Burkina Faso, Head of State, Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor©, held an audience with the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Integration and Chadians Abroad, Ms. Fatime Aldjineh Garfa, this Wednesday. She was joined by her Burkinab¨ counterpart, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Comrade Bªbgnasgnan Stella Eldine Kabr©/Kabor©.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit carried a message from the President of the Republic of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss D©by Itno, to the President of Burkina Faso. The Special Envoy Minister disclosed that Chad is set to host the African Water Forum in N'Djamena on July 15 and 16. "The President of Chad personally invited his counterpart from Burkina Faso to participate in this important event, which necessarily links our Sahel countries," stated the Chadian Minister, Ms. Fatime Aldjineh Garfa.

The Burkinabe Head of State expressed his interest in the initiative and emphasized the importance of solidarity between the two nations in addressing climate and environmental challenges that transcend borders.
