Burkina Faso Honors Russian Military Institute on its 115th Anniversary

Moscow, Russia — During the 115th anniversary celebrations of the Military Institute of Physical Culture in Saint Petersburg, Burkina Faso awarded the institution with the Knight of the Order of the Stallion. The award was presented by Burkina Faso’s Ambassador to Russia, Ludovic R. Tapsoba, in recognition of the institute’s role in training Burkinabè military personnel.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Ambassador Tapsoba decorated the institute’s flag with the medal, acknowledging the institution’s commitment to the hospitality and training of Burkinabè officers. Currently, six Burkinabè officers are undergoing training at the institute. The ambassador’s gesture also underscored the strong bilateral relations between Burkina Faso and the Russian Federation, celebrating over a century of the institute’s contributions to military education.
