Burkina Faso Honors 357 Recipients in National Decoration Ceremony

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, presided over the official decoration ceremony marking the 63rd anniversary of the country’s independence. A total of 357 individuals were honored, including 205 in the Order of the Stallion and 152 in the Order of Merit.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the nation expressed gratitude to its daughters and sons for their exemplary dedication, professional value, and quality service during the period of national territory reconquest. These honorees represent various sectors, including public administration, the private sector, religious and customary communities, culture, and the rural world.

This recognition ceremony serves as a call to the nation’s citizens for commitment and unity in addressing the challenges of the Transition and building a prosperous country grounded in its endogenous values.

The recipients were congratulated by the Head of State for their dedication and service to the nation.
