Burkina Faso Government Integrates Three Artisanal Villages into SIAO

OUAGADOUGOU — The government of Burkina Faso has announced the integration of three artisanal villages into the International Trade Fair of Ouagadougou Crafts (SIAO) this Wednesday, aiming to address operational challenges faced by these communities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, A newly adopted decree has transferred the management and property rights of the artisanal villages located in Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, and Kaya to SIAO. This strategic move allows the fair to potentially establish branches or representations at the regional level, providing a more structured and supportive framework for these artisanal communities.
