Burkina Faso-Germany Cooperation: Minister Nacanabo and Dr. Braune Review Bilateral Relations

Ouagadougou: The Minister of Economy and Finance, Dr. Aboubakar Nacanabo, and Dr. Bernhard Braune, head of the Sahel division at the German Federal Ministry, recently evaluated the current state of cooperation between Burkina Faso and Germany. This meeting, held in Ouagadougou, focused on a partnership rooted in pragmatism and dialogue.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Dr. Nacanabo expressed appreciation for the cooperative spirit that defines the relationship between the two nations. He outlined Burkina Faso's vision for future collaboration, aligning it with the Manifesto of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP) and the Recovery Plan aimed at bolstering economic and social development.

Dr. Braune, representing Germany, reiterated his country's commitment to maintaining a respectful and sovereign partnership with Burkina Faso. He emphasized Germany's dedication to supporting several key sectors in Burkina Faso, including water, sanitation, agriculture, and local development.
