Ouagadougou – In a series of recent operations across various regions in Burkina Faso, the Combatant Forces have successfully neutralized several terrorists and recovered war materials. These operations were conducted in the Sahel, the Center-North, and Lanfiera regions (Boucle du Mouhoun), as reported on Tuesday by the Agence d’Information du Burkina (AIB).

According to Burkina Information Agency, The Combatant Forces engaged in several battles with terrorist groups, demonstrating determination and bravery. These efforts resulted in the elimination of numerous terrorists and the recovery of war materials. Additionally, on November 7, 2023, aerial forces located a group of terrorists in the Lanfiera forest, part of the Boucle du Mouhoun region. The ensuing strikes effectively destroyed their base and neutralized the group.

According to available information, security operations are actively continuing throughout the territory of Burkina Faso, aiming to maintain peace and stability in the region.
