OUAGADOUGOU – Burkina Faso’s dailies on Monday highlighted a tragic accident on national road No. 1, the national football team’s draw in the African Cup of Nations (CAN) 2023, and the government’s efforts in reclaiming national territories.

The private newspaper Le pays reported on a tragic road accident that occurred on January 20, 2024, 5 km after PS on national road No. 1, resulting in 9 fatalities.
