OUAGADOUGOU — Régis Kévin Bakyono, Burkina Faso’s Ambassador to the Holy See, expressed his happiness on Wednesday as he welcomed a group of Burkinabè pilgrims in Rome. The gathering took place after the pilgrims attended the traditional general audience with the Holy Father, which occurs every Wednesday.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ambassador Bakyono, along with his colleagues, received the pilgrims in a "warm and fraternal atmosphere." He expressed gratitude for the initiative, highlighting how it reflects the strong sense of family and fraternity among Burkinabè citizens, regardless of where they are in the world. The Ambassador also underscored the importance of unity among Burkinabè, particularly in facing the country’s challenges.
During the meeting, the pilgrims and embassy staff joined in prayer for the well-being of Burkina Faso.
