Beijing: His Excellency Daouda Bitié, Ambassador of Burkina Faso to the People’s Republic of China, praised the excellent relations between the two countries at the closing ceremony of the International Media Seminar, held on May 28, 2025, in Beijing. “Experience-sharing activities are key pillars of cooperation between our two countries. In addition to capacity building and human capital training, these initiatives promote cultural exchange that fosters better mutual understanding,” said the Burkinabe diplomat.
According to Burkina Information Agency, he recalled that bilateral cooperation, based on consideration and mutual respect, has experienced growing momentum since the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between Burkina Faso and the People’s Republic of China in May 2018. The holding of this seminar, as well as the numerous actions to strengthen technical capacities, demonstrate the solidity and exemplary nature of Sino-Burkinabe relations.

Organized at the initiative of the People’s Republic of China, the International Media Seminar took place from May 8 to 28, 2025, in Beijing. It brought together public and private media executives from Burkina Faso. In addition to presentations on the use of technology in the media, new media management, video content creation, and the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, participants visited companies, universities, and media outlets in Beijing, Jinan, and Qingdao.
