34 VDPs and 6 soldiers fell armed, yesterday Saturday about fifteen km northeast of Ouahigouya, during an attack led by unidentified armed men, according to a provisional assessment communicated Sunday by the governor of the North region.

The same source mentions 33 wounded in stable condition, currently being treated at the CHR in Ouahigouya.

According to our information, the Combatant Forces also inflicted losses on the enemy during heavy fighting.
