Brent Opens with 0.45% Depreciation

Luanda: Brent opened for trading on the stock exchange, on Tuesday in Luanda, with a price of 79.78 dollars, on the international market, a depreciation of 0.45% compared to the previous day’s opening.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the sales session on Monday ended at 80.15 dollars per barrel. Brent is the oil that serves as a reference for exports from Angola, whose General State Budget (OGE) for 2025 was prepared based on a price of 70 dollars per barrel and an estimated production of 1 million barrels of oil per day.

In addition to Brent, listed on the London Stock Exchange and the main reference for the European market, the other type of price for a barrel of oil is West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the main reference for this commodity for the American market, which has its price on the New York Stock Exchange.
